Ghalaita is a small studio in Dubai. We started in 2018 and we are still one team. Design and engineering sit at the same table; nothing is handed off, nothing is outsourced. Each product began as something we kept wishing existed, and each ships on web, iOS and Android together, in English and Arabic, with right to left done properly. Then we keep shipping. Tkibili is five years in and on its second major version. The details are the product.

A launch is day one; the years after are the job. Tkibili is on version 2.1.2 five years in, and none of the three has been left alone since it launched.

The hour that is off by one, the note nobody named, the screen a four-year-old cannot read. That is the work.

Both languages, properly.
عربي وإنجليزيEnglish and Arabic, right to left included, drawn into the first wireframe rather than bolted on at the end, because Dubai reads both ways.
